Paddling with the Tsunami Rangers (by watching their videos)

Sunday, 25 November 2007 16:30 Written by David H. Johnston
The Tsunami Rangers Surfing through Youtube, I found a bunch of new canoeing and kayaking videos and added them to our video channel.

I was very excited to stumble upon a Tsunami Ranger video that was recently uploaded to Youtube. I added it to the Sea Kayaking Videos channel but had to highlight here because it is so fantastic. The Tsunami Rangers were a group of extreme paddlers who played in the Pacific Ocean.

Here is the Youtube Description: Experience the Greatest Hits of the Tsunami Rangers in this compilation of their adventures in little kayaks in big seas, crashing surf, dark caves, and jagged rocks. See classic scenes of the Rangers in breathtaking action, rare broadcast video, and never seen before footage.

The video is quite old (probably early/mid 90's) but it just shows how ahead of their time they were in pushing the limits of sea kayaking as it was known then.

You can also purchase the full length version of their "Greatest Hits" here.

Click "Read More" link to view the video.
