The Canadian Canoe Museum is saying good-bye to general manager Janice Griffith.
Ms Griffith announced her retirement, effective April 30.
In
a letter thanking staff and volunteers for their help and support
during the years, Ms Griffith says, "I have achieved what I set out to
do, which was to help this organization reach a level of sustainability
and regain its credibility in our community locally, across the
country, and beyond, and I take satisfaction in that."
Pat Hooper
has joined the museum staff as interim manager and will work alongside
Ms Griffith for the next four months until Ms Griffith moves into
retirement.
The annual general meeting for the Canadian Canoe Museum is May 14 at 7 p.m.
